Based in Portsmouth, in the south coast of the UK since 1980, Apollo has built a worldwide reputation for innovation, quality and reliability. In early 2009 Apollo was awarded the Royal Warrant by Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of its official supplier status to the Royal Household. Apollo is no stranger to Royal approvals, having been the first company of its kind to hold three consecutive Queen's Awards for Export Achievement.

Innovation drives the company's product development programme, with continuous exploration of new technologies helping to deliver leading-edge fire detection solutions. Apollo offers five distinct ranges, including analogue addressable and conventional fire detection devices, as well as a host of ancillary products such as sounders, visual indicators and manual call points. Apollo holds in excess of 3,000 product approvals worldwide as well as a number of internationally recognised quality and environmental awards.

Apollo Conventional Call Point

Apollo's Conventional Manual Call Points comply with EN54-11 and are available in both indoor and outdoor variants. Apollo also offers a yellow variant suitable for alternative applications.

  • 'Plug and play' terminal connections for fast wiring
  • Resettable element 

Non-standard variants of the Manual Call Point are not EN54-11 compliant and therefore cannot be used to signal fire

Apollo Series 65 Heat Detectors

The Series 65 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a dual thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. There are 12 heat detectors in the Series 65 range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions.

  • Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitable
  • Ideal for environments that are dirty or smoky under natural conditions

Apollo series 65 Optical Smoke Detectors

The Series 65 Optical Smoke Detector incorporates a pulsing LED located within the housing of the detector. The external detector moulding is identical to that of the ionisation detector but has an indicator LED which is clear in quiescent state but produces a red light in alarm.

  • Responds well to slow-burning, smouldering fires
  • Well suited for bedrooms and escape routes
  • Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure
  • Flashing LED and magnet operated test switch option
